Hi Shrey,

Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology are very similar in their course structure.

CSE deals with the  basic elements of computer programming and networking. This provides knowledge about design, implementation and management of information system of both hardware and software.

Wherever, IT teaches operating computer systems, software, servers, computer networking or network securities. This deals with software as well as digital hardware.

Placement wise you should prefer CSE over IT.
