Cds combined defence service examination is conducted twice in year by upsc for recruitment in indian army, airforce, navy, and officer training academy. Serving for country is a dream of million of youth , jobs in defence comes with responsibility and prestige.

Eligibility criteria for cds-
1. Graduation from a recognised board. For ima and ota
2.Engineering degree from a recognised university INA
3. Graduation in engineering or 12th with PCM airforce.

Age limit-

Indian Military Academy (IMA)

19-24


Indian Naval Academy (INA)

19-22

Air Force Academy

19-23

There is no any boundation of branch in graduations for cds . you must be graduate to be eligible for cds.

As, such there is no boundation of branches from B.Tech according to the latest CDS eligibility criteria.

You can apply for CDS with any engineering branch let it be CSE, ECE or any other.
