Hello,

Mechanical Engineering is a 4 year undergraduate Engineering course. It is a course itself in which you study subjects like Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Engineering Mechanics, Machine Drawing, Design of Machine Members etc. Now there are two ways to join in Indian Army after graduation one is through CDS, the eligibility is that a candidate must have passed gradudation in any discipline and the selection is done based on merit in entrance exam. And second one is through SSC tech entry the eligibility is that a candidate must have passed Engineering in any discipline and the selection is based on merit in graduation.
