Generally, CS/IT and ECE are preferred in the terms of placements. However, there is one thing to note that Go for ECE only if you really like physics because lot many people find it hard to cope with the ECE subjects.

Also, you can opt for any other branch if your interest really lies in that as there will be always be few best jobs in each branch. Hope this helps

Placements plays a role just in college, I mean it can satisfy you in college itself. If you really want to live life then go and choose the branch with your passion. As of now, ECE and Cse are in good demand and most probably you can get good IT job by opting those courses. And by opting me/Ce you can get into government sector.

Most in Cs and ece. More than 95% in good colleges. Other than this mechanical and electrical have good too.
