Dear Madhu, Tamilnadu as a State doesn't have any Entrance Examination for Engineering. Anna University conducts TNEA which is a counselling process for admission to Engineering courses in its 563 participating Institutions. The admissions are based on merit scored in 10+2.  AP EAMCET on the other hand is the State Level Entrance Examination for admission to Engineering courses in Andhra Pradesh. So it is no entrance examination vs an entrance examination. But the eligibility for both is 10+2.

Well both entrance exam having same syllabus , questions difficulty type varies every year. I think there is no such difference between them.
