engineering itself has a lot of branches, every branch is good among its aspects. Now, the basic funda lies here: if you choose a branch which you dislike to study,but you go due to placement scenario,then it will have a negative impact on you.So,choose branch according to the strength and weaknesses.If you like coding,opt for COMPUTER SCIENCE. If you like robotics, go for ELECTRONICS. If you have an interest in heat transfer,thermodynamics and fluid mechanics, opt for Mechanical.

All the fields of engineering are good if you have interest in them. So you must choose the field you are most interested in. Still if you want to know I would say computer science engineering is at top for the time being and is considered to be better than others because of more number of jobs available.

It solely depends on your choice and dreams.What are you dreaming to achieve??what are your career interests???                          If you can answer the above two questions then you will get the answer for your question.

If your dream is to be a software Engineer, Interested in computers then without any doubt Opt the Computer Science department.Through this department there has been a greater scope to earn more as well as learn.

If you are interested towards the designing of Cars,Bikes and other automotives.Mechanical Engineering will help you.It is a very good branch and has good scope.you can choose ECE/EEE if you are interested towards the circuits and Electrical systems.
