GMERS Medical College Dharpur Patan was founded in 2012 by the Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society (GMERS) and Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Gujarat.

The GMERS Medical College and Hospital Dharpur, Patan, is spread over 62 acres of land and has several blocks of buildings.

• The Medical college has 4 blocks with Pre- and Paraclinical departments all built according to MCI Norms.There are 5 A/C lecture theatres in medical College and one in the hospital. • There are separate common rooms for girls and boys.

•The Library is in a 3 storied building, totally air-conditioned and there is separate A/C outer reading room for 150 students.

• GMERS Hospital, Dharpur, Patan is a Tertiary care 300 bedded Hospital.

• As per the reviews available online for the College from the College students stipend is paid to all interns practicing in attached hospital Rs 15,000 per month and after internship salary is paid upto Rs 60,000 per month.

The GMERS Medical College, Himmatnagar was established in the year 2012 and  Attached to the college is the 300 bedded (which will be expanded with the subsequent MCI requirements)

• The college and hospital are located in 25 acres campus located in the central Himmatnagar, 2 km from Himmatnagar Railway Station, and State Transport bus Main terminus.

• It is affiliated to the prestigious university of Gujarat, Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan.

• The MBBS course fee for the first year is around Rs 3 Lakhs.
