After ba llb hons , you can appear for civil and judicial services ,IAS services JAGS ,services in army , corporate lawyer,legal advisors in MNC's and company's ,Legal processing outsourcing  ,Practice in criminal ,civil or income tax as an advocate.

Thus ba political science hons opens doors for civil services and ba llb hons opens doors for judiciary services.
Thus ,the choice depends on your interest.
