Honestly I have not seen much of the difference in the subjects which you might be studying in International Business Course as compared to Marketing or Operations. Of course much of the curriculum difference comes when you compare MBA Marketing or IB(International Business) to MBA Finance as their is massive difference in the subjects on which you do your research or you develop your expertise in Finance as compared to Ops or Marketing.

However if you compare IB with Marketing major difference will be in terms if foreign languages which you might be exposed with which is French in most of the cases. Apart from that while you are getting placed companies who are looking for a international profile will definitely look for the foreign languages which you can speak and understand as well. So difference comes in the kind of profile when you are working as Marketing Head India and Marketing Head South East Asia which is because of the kind of exposure you had in your earlier jobs or may be due to ability to cross the geographical barrier.
