In my opinion both the branches have equal importance and career options, But my personal suggestion is that if have interest in Automotives then go for Automotive engineering. Because in India the seat for Automotive is comparitively low than EEE, and in future India has many industries in automotive field, so the career oppertunities are high and low competation for jobs.
