For jee mains use R C mukherjee (RCM). It is one of the best books for jee mains, jee advanced as well as other competitive exams. The practice questions are good and are up to a very good level. Use RCM as it will benefit you not only in jee mains but also in jee advanced exam and other competitions. Never go for P bahadur or OP tandon. These books simply copy and paste and make their book thicker every year. They do not have quality contents or variety of questions.

As you said, both the books are really helpful.I suggest you to check yourself with which book you are more comfortable. It is better to take that book which is easy for you to understand and solve problems.If you like one book for concepts and other book for problems , do the same.RC mukharjee is easy and PC bahadur will take a lot of time to solve problems.Happy preparation.All the best
