Hello! Hope you are doing well. It actually depends on your views. If you are interested in commerce and all you can go for Bcom. If you have nothing in particular it would be better if you take B. Tech. Because it is a professional degree whereas Bcom is a normal degree. And you can get a job which is decent enough. It is also true that if you don't get into a decent college it is little difficult. But you can still try a litlle hard in your field. So you will still have a chance. B.tech is a professional technical degree and B.com is just a simple graduation. It is obvious that you will get a job easily with comparison to B.com. Yes, it is also true that if you get a decent B.tech college than only you will get a decent salary job or else you have to compete enough. But you will get a job after while by working hard in your field.
Now the question comes about your interest. If you are interested in commerce field than you should go ahead because above all the facts and figures your self interest mattars and will help you throughout your career.
