However, the final selection may be based on a higher cut-off percentage depending on the total number of applicants for the program.

Now a days, both the PGDM and MBA have equal value. Both the courses are mater level course, focusing on business management's. Coming to syllabus PGDM syllabus is bit flexible. The difference is after PGDM you will receive diploma certification and after MBA you will receive degree certification. Now, coming to government jobs, yes you can apply.

MBA is more benficial tham PGDM. MBA is a degree course while PGDM is a diploma course. The course fee structure for MBA is also lower for MBA. And if you are looking for a government job after PGDM Course then you are eligible for the government jobs on your graduation. there are various departments who give jobs according to graduation, Such as, SSC CGL, UPSC, IBPS or Bank Jobs, PSU, Railways, UPSSSC, DSSSB and so on.
