Among psg tech and govt college of engineering Salem, both are averagely good for metallurgical engineering. Metallurgical engineering is a branch which is not that common but it is getting popular now. If we talk about placements and compare both the colleges, then psg college of technology is not that good for placements whereas govt College of engineering Salem is comparatively better. So you can prefer the later one. Rest you can choose as per your convenience.
