Talking of engineering colleges in India, NITs are obviously far better than any EAMCET or private colleges.

But Colleges like BITS Pilani or BIT Mesra is much better than most NITs although BIT Mesra intake is through JOSAA. Other private colleges like Manipal, VIT are better than lower ranked NITS like Arunachal, Hamirpur, Agartala, Jalandhar.
