Both courses are good. The advantage of bams over bpt is that after completion of bams , you will be a dr. While bpt is paramedical course.

In indian context, BHMS is better as it will give you a certified doctor status which is not there in the BPT. You will have a better career in the BHMS than BPT in India. From BHMS, you could also transition to allopathy by doing few courses.

BPT is much better in terms of scope job and availability. If you do BPT, you are a therapist with allied health professional certificate that means u have authority to be called doctor and use prefix Dr. Moreover there is huge scope awaiting.
