Actuarial science is study which solves business problems using tools like statistics, mathematics, economic and Finance conducyed by IAI.

The work of an actuary candidate involves study of insurance, pensions and stock market Investments by implementation of algorithm and models.
The job profiles are very high paying and International roles have been offered rangibg in salary of 8-45LPA.
Such candidates are experts in risk management.

Howver, demand is too high for such candidates as only 35 students passout of 1000.


   As compared to Bsc Statistics, Actuary has great demand with low supply.

BSc statistics majorly deals with statistical modelling, machine learning, Software analysis, etc and is majorly restricted to BFSI and IT domains.
The supply is mediocre and so is the demand.
Average salary for this profession is 5-8LpA.

Hence, in my opinion Bsc Actuarial is most recommended , perhaps it is difficult to crack but the return on investment is huge and so are the opportunities.
