Hello Aspirant,

B.Tech and B.Ed are two entirely different streams of education. So it will be difficult to compare them. Both are employable degrees however B.Tech is a technical based knowledge heavy subject. You can appear for entrance examinations such as JEE or apply merit based for Btech or through lateral entry from diploma The various disciplines within Btech are listed below

  • Mechanical engineering
  • Civil engineering
  • Electronics engineering
  • Electrical engineering
  • Computer science engineering
  • Information technology engineering
  • Aeronautical engineering
  • Chemical engineering etc.

In case of B.Ed is Bachelors degree in education which prepares for your career as an academician/teacher. As per NCERT's revised rule you can apply for B.Ed directly after your 10+2 level education.

Hope this helps and Good luck
