Hello Apurva, CSE is more vast course than IT. IT is more like a part of CSE made into a branch of engineering. In IT, you would mainly study about hardware systems, but in CSE you will study about hardware and software both. Placement wise, both branches have almost similar placements, but CSE is marginally ahead. If you want to go working abroad, you should take CSE because it is more recognized globally.
