I think the question you should be asking is what is better for you. If you have an inclination towards how the human body works and having a better connect with humans, you can opt for medical. However, if you are someone who wants to be able to earn earlier, not wanting to study for a decade or more, medical will not be suitable. It is a lifelong commitment that you devote your youth to, with a lot of obstacles in the system itself. I suggest you consult a career counseler or get aptitude analysis done if you are confused.

Hi ANAND,
As per your query about choosing a career path between engineering or medical, first thing is what you want with your life.. Because both the said fields are quite different... I would suggest to use the app of CAREERS360 for career guidance... Here it is how to use it... Go to left upper end.. Click so a drop down menu is present.. Click on PREDICTOR then  tap on CAREER ADVISOR... then you should use that specially Skill related guide or GUIDE ME option.... I would like to say there are many options... Do let us know it helps ylu to arrive at a decision or not

Human mind is like a monkey. It will always jump from one to another.

One can never say that IIT is better, nor that Medical is better.

It depends on the person who studies and practices it.

The thing is that if you have interest in Medical, you can choose it. If interest is in IIT, choose that.

I know that it will be confusing at this stage to choose one. Once you did, it is very difficult to change. But never forget that the one you choose will come till the end of your life.

So, think many times before you choose.

According to me, both has same scope.

Medicine with its newer diseases and treatment procedure is always expanding. Same to IIT with its newer technology and its adaptation, is also growing.

But the thing is, if you want to excel in your profession, you should do better.

I will say that the excellence of a person i a field is due to his interest and the knowledge acquired through it.

So, I will suggest you to choose the field on which you has more interest.
