IIT will be good option

As you are saying if you are getting your rank in that range you will get choice to have core branch in second generation IITs  and Computer science in Third generation IITs

Second generation IITs like Hyderabad, Gandhinagar , Indore, BHU, Patna, Ropar ,

Third generation IITs tirupati, goa .

Also in old iits you can get Economics course which is also good option.
