Currently all the departments are doing great! Still,if you insist me to name one,I would say it is CSE. CSE in KGEC has flourished much in recent times. They have got a very healthy placement % this year, many of our seniors have cracked the GATE ‘16, few of them cracked the GRE and going abroad for MS, one senior even made it to IIM Indore by cracking CAT with a high percentile! Overall, cse is on it’s peak.

I am from ECE,and I am quite happy to say that ECE has also done great this year,ECE guys obviously got placed in the usual suspects i.e TCS,Wipro, plus this year Ericson also hired ECE grads,then they had their Capgemini on campus!

Despite of being a core department,EE also managed to produce placements this year! This is something that doesn’t always happens in a MAKAUT (formerly WBUT) College!
