Chemical engineering at Jadavpur:Placements:Placements in college are good because it is the oldest and reputed college in India. Around 60-70% of the students get placed every year. More of them go for higher studies. Reputed companies like Indian Oil, BPCL, ONGC, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd., Vedanta, Honeywell, etc., visit the campus for placements of the chemical engineering department.
ECE IN KALYANI GOVERNMENT COLLEGE: Placements :The placements in this college are good over the years. Most of the students got placed in the college placements. Last year, the highest package offered by Hindustan Unilever to a student was 9 LPA. Most of the students got placed in companies like TCS and Wipro. Most of the students got placed in the companies from the IT-sector in other states.
