If you have interest in law and if you want more power then you should go for civil judge services. Because a civil judge has greater power and more privilege then SDM. It is obvious that a district judge is very much superior from DM. Actually in 1992 supreme Court has clearly declared that there should not be any comparison between civil service and SDM. Because judiciary is very much superior in the term of privilege respect pay and parks.
