Hello Aspirant,

Hope your doing good.

PGDM course is run by institutions having total responsibility of selecting students, designing course curriculum, training them, evaluating them and finally placing them. While an MBA, the course is designed by universities and taught by its affiliating colleges.

Students start learning an MBA course like MA in history and with the focus of passing the program. Also, the universities don’t change their syllabus for decades. MBA students during Job interviews find it difficult to answers the questions as the interviewers generally ask the questions on the latest trends. While the PGDM being single-window program makes the student better skilled and updated with the latest market trends.

advantages of choosing pgdm:

  • Specialization in Any Field
  • Preference for Higher Studies
  • Real-time Business World Experience
  • Experienced Faculty.

Advantages of Choosing MBA

  • MBA has Global acceptability for employment
  • MBA degree - requirement for higher studies abroad.
  • Legacy of MBA

Hence its your choice of career, both has its own merits and demerits.

Follow your passion.

Hope this helps, for more such information ping us below

Thankyou.

Good Luck for everything ahead :)

Hello,
MBA, short for Master of Business Administration, is a Post Graduate Degree in Management. ... PGDM is a course offered by colleges that are not affiliated with recognized universities or are not authorized to offer degrees. And therefore they offer Diploma courses which in a broader view come at the same level as an MBA.
To be eligible for admission to the PGDM Program(s), the participants must possess a bachelor’s equivalent degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline, from a recognized university in India or abroad (recognized by the UGC / Association of Indian Universities). However, the final selection may be based on a higher cut-off percentage depending on the total number of applicants for the program.

MBA is a Master’s degree and only recognized universities or colleges affiliated with such universities are allowed to offer a degree in Business Administration. Such universities follow one single curriculum designed for the course and offer other major degrees like bachelor and Doctorate.
