Any course you choose your efforts in it is must.

Biotech shall be more comprehensive and you might have to work hard on it than ayurveda course. So out of both I will suggest you to choose the latter.

After successfully completing your BAMS Course you can become a licensed practitioner in ayurveda and can work in ayurvedic hospitals.
