When you do BA in economics, you get to study 3 subjects of your choice, for e.g., if you choose economics, political science, history, you will have to study all three.
If you study BA Economics hons., you would study only economics in detail and subjects related to economics, like Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Maths for eco, stats for eco, development eco, and a lot more. Latter is a better choice from jobs perspective.
Also

BA - bachelor of Arts

BA (hons) - bachelor of arts with honors (specialsation in a paticular feild . In your case , economics )

BA economics - irrelevant . Because if youre studying BA without honors , you won't be specializing in any paticular subject . Economics will be covered . But not specialized

Good Luck :)
