You can be eligible for teaching regardless its BA OR BA hons.

BA is a basic BA since the syllabus is standard and you can readily get guidance and resources for practically every topic. BA (hons) is more difficult than regular BA since it has a separate curriculum and guidelines.It's similar to doing research on a subject. By doing honors you can get a deeper knowledge for that very particular subject and it thus can be even more beneficial for you when you pursue teaching.
