Hello,

The air rank is the rank you get from all over india and state rank gets you in the state merit list. From air you can get colleges from all over india whereas state quota means you get colleges from 85% of your reserved seats from your state. So it means state rank is little low while air is higher.

State rank is the rank which is calculated on the basis of candidates qualified from a particular state. State rank is released by State Counselling authorities. State authorities ask for state counselling registration where candidates apply and based on their merit obtained in the examination, the state authorities release merit lists. So state rank is basically calculated within limited candidates, suppose you belong to Maharashtra and 1 lakh candidate have qualified Neet from Maharashtra. So your rank would be within those 1 lakh candidates. But in case of All India rank, the rank calculated considering students from all over the country. So generally, all India rank is higher than state rank.
