CSIT is basically the branch of CSE. Information Technology deals with the use of electronic computers and computer software to store, protect process, transmit and securely retrieve data. It includes installation of application to design complex applications. Whereas CSE covers the major branch of software engineering including IT work and other coding programs  So it is advisable to choose  CSE as both have almost same scope in future.
