Dear aspirant,

For any government examinations, it is advisable to first have full command over the NCERT textbooks for the particular subject. In your case, if you haven't studied mathematics after your schooling years and now want to prepare for government examinations, pick up NCERT textbooks of class 8, 9, and 10 yo begin with.

in most of the government examinations, numerical aptitude, verbal and logical reasoning, current affairs and english questions comes, however the numerical aptitude questions are 10th standard and you need to know about short cut tricks to solve those. some of the good books is

quantitative aptitude by arun sharma

quantitative aptitude by r s agarwal
