Hello Student,

A psychology aspirant can opt for jobs in both the public and private sectors. The private sector has various career opportunities, whereas there are fewer options for government jobs.

Government in India has not yet evolved with the jobs for psychology students especially. There are certain jobs which a psychology student can pursue under government name:

  • Correctional Counselor. Correctional counselors work with the U.S Department of Justice or a state-equivalent bureau to help manage inmates.
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation Agent.
  • Military Psychologist.
  • Criminal Profiler.
  • Veteran Counselor.
