Mechanical has wider scope into sectors like Mining, E commerce, Manufacturing, Automotive, Airline, Real Estate. Overall opportunity is more across emerging economy with national average package of 3.5lpa in India.

Aerospace or Aeronautical engineering is very niche and has limited opportunities although high demand if done from top 10 Engineering college. Opportunities mainly into Airline, Defence sector and hence,

Mechanical is preferred over its exponential demand ahead.
