• Basically, NIRMA University’s cut offs are higher than PDPU. Since NIRMA is a 20 year old institute, while PDPU is just 10 years old.
• The faculties in both the institutes are experienced and are from estimeed institutes.
• Labs in PDPU are slightly more developed than NIRMA. The labs in PDPU are of modern technologies and are well equipped.
• Placements, in PDPU the highest placements were from chemical department only and the highest package was around 8.5 lacs. Also placement in NIRMA is also appreciable.
• One advantage PDPU has that it gives industrial exposure to students. PDPU has contacts with many of the industries which is beneficial for the students. Also PDPU conducts many events like ‘International Conference on Chemical Industry(ICCI) , ADCTE, which happens only in Chemical Department, no other department has organised such a grand event in the span of last 5 years.

I would say PDPU is a new college than nirma. So the facilities are better at PDPU. You will get ACs in the classrooms while in nirma only somes classes have ACs. The labs are also of better technology in PDPU than in nirma. The placements and packages are almost the same with only slight differences. The highest package in pdpu for chemical engineering is around 8.5 lakhs.

so I would suggest you to go for PDPU.
