It totally depends on your interest. If you like any one of them you won't feel tough.

If we talk about career opportunities in both branches  ECE has more opportunity over CSE in field of government jobs

CSE has a greater opportunity than  ECE in the field of private job.

Don't think that a branch it tough or not if you like that, you should work hard. It's upto you whether you prefer government or private jobs. But first think about your favorite branch.
