You should always remember Engineering isnt easy, be it in any branch, specialization or institute. However I believe Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and other Core branches are more tedious, tough and prove to be a hard nut to crack many times. Whereas in case of ECE or CSE, it all depends how well you develop new skills and master new technologies, hence curriculum is more or less structured and student friendly in most Technical Institutes.
