Dear Aspirant,

Generally mathematics came only in 1st year in CS and IT branches in 1st an 2nd semester .  Generally maths has topics like calculus , differential eqn. , algebra  etc . Here , these are not so tough but the level of each single topic has increased .

You will find even a different book of each single topic. Also in the GATE exam the questions came from maths part also. So you have to be very attentive . From 2nd year onwards no maths subjects came into picture . Don't worry about Maths part , it just needs a lot of practice and you have to do it .
