To become a Marketing Manager u need to have experience in Marketing.

A marketing manageris someone who manages the marketing of a business or product. They can be responsible for several services or products, or be in charge of a single product.A marketing manager needs to have an outgoing, gregarious, and spontaneous nature.

Marketing managers made a median salary of $1,31,180 in 2016. On the low end, they earned $67,490, while the highest-paid made $2,08,000 or more. Marketing managers working in the securities and commodity exchanges industry are paid especially well, as are those who work in oil and gas extraction.

Average Starting Salaries. According to a 2012 survey by the National Association of Colleges and Employers, marketing majors with a bachelor's degree earned an average starting salary of $53,400, which is well above the $45,790 earned annually by the average U.S. worker.

Most marketing managers work 37 hours a week, between the hours of 9am and 6pm. As with many jobs with tight deadlines, they may be expected to work additional hours at certain times to ensure that targets are met. Some positions may require a lot of travel, particularly when working for an international company.

Depending upon your level of dedication, marketing majors can take the following time to complete: Associate's degree programs, which provide entry-level opportunity, usually take two years. A bachelor's degree program takes four years. Master's degree programs and MBAs generally require one to two years.
