the average package for cse is 6-12 lakhs per annum

You can have a check at the NIT 2020 cutoffs to know the chances of getting admission the NITs. Admission is  based on the marks obtained in the JEE entrance exam.

However as per the rankings and the placements, NIT Tiruchirapalli  can be regarded as one of the best, also in terms of faculty.

The NIT which is best best for CSE branch in terms of placement are.

1. NIT warangal
2. NIT surathkal
3. NIT visveswara
4. NIT calcium
5. Mnit Jaipur..

There is one more college which is very nice but it is not an NIT but ranking and placement is similar is

LNMIIT Jaipur.
