Giving jee mains in offline mode is mostly preffered by the students because you can attempt any of the questions easily....whereas in online mode it is not so...you have to tap on next for next questions.......offline questions are a bit easier than the online ones (last 2 years).....you should make your own decision according to the differences..

Generally it depends upon student preparedness.As a JEE trainer I suggest offline is better who is not compatible with Computer.Generally in online you can see the questions one after the other.But in offline you can quickly refer the questions which are easy and you can solve it immediately. You should be capable to solve the questions atleast in 4 rounds.
Suppose if you want write online you should practice maximum  number of online tests.You should be command able position to write the test online.
