As of now, I'm from 12th board, but my opinion is you to go with diploma+btech because diploma candidates will have high technical skills than 12 th. And the main thing they're lagging is communication and maths. If you can maintain those two then diploma will be the best option.

As you want to become an ECE engineer....then in my opinion 12th+ btech is the best option....after 12th try to give more and more competitive exams and try to suceed in it......get a good college ..

Pay attention to the following

• Main aim is to do engineering
• According to me class 12+ btech is best

Because

• In first year of engineering you have to study physics

Chemistry, and mathematics similar to class 12.

• Also in placement they also check class 12 performance.
• Most importantly for JEE you need 75% in class 12.
