Both the programming Courses are valuable.
C++ and Java both are professional Courses. Both of are used to develop softwares, websites etc.,

When it comes to selection.C++ can be almost used everywhere but it's not always useful.
Where as Java is one the course that always be in a need for some or other thing.
It's something like a thing which needs to complete a project.
.
So, going for java rather then C++ will give you more chances for jobs and give a greater scope.
