You have to be with in 2000 range for getting admission to IITs including new IITs under SC category. Also it varies from year to year based on different factors as number of students attending the exam, difficulty level of exam, cutoff, etc. Visit the following link to know more about the ranks required for getting a seat in IITs in previous years:
