Seeing the previous years trends anything above 3k can get you a decent branch in other campuses. You can get main campus as well if your rank is somewhere close to 3k. The only thing is you might not get demanding branches like CSE or IT.
If you are looking to get admission in CSE or IT you can easily get at Bangalore with a rank 2-3k or above. Moreover, you are eligible for any other decent branch with this rank.
But I suggest not go by the ranks, as they vary every year. Scoring well to get a good rank is the only thing that can up our stakes in any of the campuses.
