In MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) UG counselling for NEET, the All India Rank (AIR) is considered. This rank is based on your overall performance in the NEET exam, compared to all other candidates who appeared for the test across India.

Additionally, category-specific ranks (such as OBC, SC, ST, etc.) are relevant in state-level or category-based seat allocations. However, during MCC counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats , AIR is the primary ranking used for seat allotment.
