Look you will have to be considered as an Indian rank in college but as you know in our country there is a ration quota is applicable all over the India so when you are counselling on a particular college they will what your reservation quota and then you are stored reservation quota and that will considered as your rank.

The counseling process is simple. Let me explain with an example.. Suppose a medical college has X seats and Y seats are reserved for your category in that college. You and someone else belonging to Y category chose the same medical college in counseling. If your All India Rank is higher than his, obviously your category rank will also be higher than his.. So you get to occupy the seat even if he can't..
On the other hand, a student with no category reservation, with even a higher all india rank may not get a seat in the same college because he cannot occupy seats belonging to the particular Y category.
