Aeronautical engineering is a upcoming field and its has limited opportunities available after graduation.  After clearing gate with valid score, you have multiple opportunities available in public sector.  But in private sector,  mostly pg degree holders get opportunities.  Irrespective of college,  this is scenario.
IT is a established career field that has many opportunities available in both private and public sector in terms of decent placement record. So if you are truly interested in aeronautical engineering then go for it or else choose IT.
