Both are the great state in terms of job opportunities. both states have good engineering colleges and placements.

some good colleges are in Maharashtra: IIT Bombay, COE Pune, VJTI, MIT etc.

some good colleges are in Gujrat : IIT  Gandhinagar, Nirma University, SVNIT, GFTIs, etc.

both have good colleges and they call many big MNCs companies and placed student over there.

it's up to you, both are the good option for future.
