Hi Aspirant

It depends on you ,which subjects is your favourite and what you like to study without being bored.

Each and every branch has its ow speciality like

CSE : Computer and mathematics are very much important.

ECE : If you like communication chapter(last chapter of physics) and current electricity then you should choose it.

ME : If you like physics and mathematics a lot then this is best.

CE : If you like mechanics in physics ,mathematics and drawing then this is best.

EE: If you like current electricity, and machines then this is best.

So think what you want study in depth in your undergraduate.

All the best.

Hello Manish,

Every branch is unique and has its own pros and cons so it is mainly your choice and decision must be based upon your personal interest.

The only thing that I can help you with is by telling you a little bit about every stream, after that the choice is absolutely yours. You should not be depending upon somebody else's choice while taking such a crucial decision of your life.

Computer Science & Engineering/IT

Each and every organization requires to be present digitally, be it banks, hospitals, education, or railways. Computer Science and Information Technology are one of the most evergreen professions and will continue to rise in the upcoming years.

Mechanical Engineering

It is one of the toughest branches. The syllabus is huge and a bit difficult than the other streams.

If you are interested in Robots or How machines work, then go for it.

Electrical Engineering

Deals with the applications of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism.

Electronics Engineering

This is sister branch of Electrical and has a lot of scope in IT and Electronics field.

Electrical and Electronics Engineers can secure jobs in R & D, Quality Check or Production department of a company.

Civil Engineering

For those who wish to do a job in govt sector, PWD, Civil construction etc.

If you want to go for public service related jobs or passionate about serving to the nation then this is best for you. Though the starting salary is low as compared to other branches.

Aerospace Engineering

This branch of engineering deals with the research, design, development, construction, testing, science and technology of aircraft. You could also study astronautical engineering, focusing on spacecraft and the deep conditions of space.

Chemical Engineering

It uses the principle of applied physics, life sciences (microbiology and biochemistry), applied mathematics and economics.

Chemical engineering is best for those who fear maths.

Hope this helps.

Good luck!
