Hi Akhil,

The test pattern is almost same for every different college you will see only a slight difference like some colleges takes exam of 2 hour whether some takes exam of 2 and half hour.

The pattern of exam are:-

The entrance test is of 2 hours duration and has 120 multiple-choice questions with four choices in each question. Each correct answer will carry 4 marks and wrong answer will attract 1 negative mark. Sections: Mathematics – 40 questions, Computer awareness – 10 questions, Analytical ability and Logical Reasoning -55 questions and General English – 15 questions.

The mains subjects which you will study in MCA are :-

  • Computer Architecture.
  • Computer Networks.
  • Data Structures and files using C.
  • Java Programming.
  • Project Visual C++
  • Software Project Management.
